CANDLELIGHT & LAMPOSTS CHRISTMAS STORE - OPEN HOUSE
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 6 - 8PM

christmas

For those of you who have not seen our Christmas Store, you owe it to yourselves to visit!

It contains over 1200 square feet of Christmas Fantasy and is located on the third level of our building. I feel quite certain that many of you have visited our shoppe and did not realize that there was yet another floor and you missed seeing this year round display.

In it, you will find:

An unusual white tree loaded with really cute little Christmas Fairies from Mark Roberts and an exquisite array of ornaments from Katherine’s Collection.

An Electric Train setup moving through a snowy landscape of Christmas trees and cottages. That scene also includes a very large and elaborate Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause, two polar bear alpine skiers and two jeweled reindeer.

A White Christmas gazebo displaying an array of silver and white ornaments by Katherine’s: angels, silver bells, glass icicles, snow balls and another large Santa clothed in a sequined white robe.

An antique fireplace mantel displaying interesting stocking hangers by Mark Roberts.

A Ginger Bread house displaying really cute, whimsical ornaments from Katherine’s Collection: mice, snowmen, Humpty Dumpty, frogs. Our little ones will love them.

A collection of whimsical Christmas Carrollers by Jacqueline Kent, a few cottages by Thomas Kinkade.

If you are exchanging Christmas Ornaments as gifts, this is your place. We also have friendship balls, interesting packaging for your wine gifts and many more gift ideas.

And if during the hustle and bustle of this time of the year you are just trying to get into the Christmas spirit, please feel welcome to come in and stroll through, enjoying the sights and sounds of the season. We’ll have a cup of hot apple cider for you.

“Candy Prather and her husband are native Texans who have raised three children together and are enjoying numerous grandchildren. It is her fourth year to live in Rockwall who works full-time, has a small home studio, and enjoys painting in her spare time.

Candy has experienced painting with pencil, pastels, charcoal and oils, with her favorite medium being oils. She has been an apprentice to a well-known commercial artist and has taken local classes and workshops. Candy has exhibited locally at The Texas Roast, Candlelight & Lamposts, The Hilton Bella Harbor Fine Art Gallery and Rockwall Art League’s Annual Fall Art Show/Sale in 2007 and 2008.
